Falafel with Pinar Labneh

INGREDIENTS

Pinar Labneh

tablespoon of capers

PREPARATION

  1. Boil 300 gr chickpeas and then peel the skins. Separately boil 200 gr broad beans.
  2. In a separate bowl, add boiled broad beans and then mix it together with the skinless chickpeas.
  3. In the same bowl, add these ingredients: 2 pcs of fresh onion, 50 g of flour, 1 bunch of parsley, 1/2 pcs of lemon juice, 2 dessertspoons of coriander seed, 2 dessertspoons of cumin, 10 g of baking powder, 1 dessertspoon of salt, 1 pc of egg yolk. Which the mixture until thoroughly combined.
  4. In a frying pan, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Meanwhile, form falafel mixture into round balls.
  5. Now place the falafel in the pan and let it fry.
  6. Preheat oven at 200C. Place the falafels in an oven tray and bake for 15 min.
  7. Slice the avocado in half, then mash up the avocado in a bowl.
  8. Add 1 tablespoon of Pinar Labneh, 1 dessertspoon of black pepper and 1 tablespoon of capers.
