Ingredients

  • 250 gr Pinar Feta Cheese
  • 1 Flat cabbage
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Pack of mushrooms
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 4 tbsp rice
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Spring onion

Instructions

  • To soften the cabbage leaves, keep the flat cabbage in the freezer overnight.
  • Cook rice and keep it aside.
  • Chop onions, garlic, carrots, mushrooms, and sauté them in a pan.
  • Add cooked rice and soy sauce into sautéd veggies and cook well.
  • Set aside to cool down.
  • Remove the cabbage from freezer and blanch in boiled water until it's fully defrosted.
  • Remove the leaves one by one.
  • Crumble Pinar Feta Cheese and mix with veggies.
  • Place the mixture into the cabbage leaves with tablespoon and roll them.
  • Fry the cabbage rolls in a pan with vegetable oil.
  • Prepare sesame sauce with sesame oil, sesame seeds and chopped spring onion.
  • Serve cabbage rolls with sesame sauce on top.
