Ingredients

  • 500 gr Pinar puff pastry
  • 1/2 bunch corriander
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 50 gr roasted pine nuts
  • 500 gr minced beef
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 150 gr Pinar kashkaval cheese
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs yolk

Instructions

  • Defrost Pinar puff pastry sheets, niddle them with fork and close the sheets from 4 sides
  • Chop coriander and parsley
  • Saute the onion, garlic and minced beef in sauce pan then add herbs, spicies and nuts. Keep sauting for 4 minutes.
  • Cut Kashkaval cheese into small cubes
  • Place the beef mix into pastry sheets. Then cover top with pinar kashkaval cheese
  • Place fatayers into the oven tray and brush the sides with egg yolk
  • Bake them in preheated oven 190C 15-20 minutes until color turns to golden brown.
  • You can sprinkle the fatayer with pomagranate seeds
